Of course, upon hearing it, one will think "Oh yeah - I do remember that." It's easy to go off into one's own reverie here and float around a memory dance floor.There are some baffling omissions in the book. If you enjoy young adult fantasy with a little romance I highly suggest you check this book out.. Really enjoy his show and the book as much. Terry's one-legged run halfway across Canada in 1980 is a story of great national pride here, and indeed many countries have caught on to the spirit. I, however, am not too fond of the misbehavior depicted in the series, but I am reading the books so that I can remind my daughter, when necessary, "This makes for a good story, but you KNOW you can't do that in real life, right?"As usual, we have an entertaining story, but my concerns boil down to the fact that the girls engage in inappropriate behavior (all in fun), and then they don't suffer any consequences for their bad decisions.I like that the girls were willing to do some work to earn money. Instead of just solving for final velocity, the book answer made an assumption about how much time the object accelerated for and got a final velocity of 20 instead of 6.3.
