I felt like this book was more of a coffee table picture book than a helpful guide to getting started on self sufficiency. Leans a lot on scripture as opposed to just personal experience. WowIm not usually a fan of true crime stories, but this one hit home. One explanation for these critiques it offers is hinted at at the beginning of the book, that postmodernism as a currently active school of thought is going to have problems that later schools of though will attempt to correct, but instead of allowing this as an explanation and believing these issues to be discussed further, the book claims that postmodernism has passed but does not offer any newer schools of thought for the reader to look into.
